Brock Lesnar Training, Pre-MMA Days

by Kilo on July 2, 2011

This is former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar back in his professional wrestling days, before the board shorts and Death Clutch shirts, giving a few soundbites about his strength and conditioning regimen.

Despite the drubbing he got from Cain Velazquez, Lesnar still looks pretty scary. I haven’t seen any actual numbers of his lifts, but I remember a magazine interview before his first fight–I believe it was in Muscle & Fitness, but don’t quote me–where someone asked him how much he benched.

“Whatever I want.”

If his size matters, I can believe it.

So there you have it. The Brock Lesnar workout routine. Carry around a log while doing step ups, use bands,  take ice baths, and you’ll eventually be a UFC champ. Oh, but you’ll have to be a gifted athlete and do a whole lot of other stuff as well. Like train fighting and lift weights and all that other jazz.
