26 Muscleups On The Playground

If you have not tried muscleups, please do so. The first time I read about them it was in some magazine article about strength benchmarks. It didn’t sound that hard on paper. You just pull yourself up really fast and then do a dip, right?

Wrong. I could do pullups. Lots of them. I could do dips. Lots of them. But I couldn’t even come close to pulling with the power it took to get my arms under me at the top.

That is 26 muscle ups done with authority. Wow.
