Strength Training Log – Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone, I’ve decided to start posting some of my workouts here on the Strength Rules. I’m not going to send them out to subscribers, but if you’re ever here on the blog and want to know what I’ve been up to, just click on the strength training log tag at the end of these workout posts. Today I was fighting for space in the gym so I just went into the corner with the Ironmind Hip squat belt and a loading pin. I did a couple of squats and worked up to 200, but the heavier weights tested poorly so I went back to 200 and hit a few sets in the 20-30 rep range. I’m really liking the belt.

I threw in a few pullups with a 35 pound kettlebell and did a few plate curls with a 35. Nice, brief, effective workout today.

Also, the barbell pullovers and pressing in various degrees of extension is making my ribs feel great. I’ve been dealing with a little instability on the right side, but it’s being resolved.
