10 Weird Feats of Strength

by Kilo on December 13, 2010

And just when I thought that the world of strength training could not get any stranger…

These are some of the odder variations of feats of strength that I have ever seen. Number one is hard for me to even look at. I think I’ll be sticking with weight lifting, kettlebell training, trying to make my abs appear, and occasionally tearing a deck of cards in half.

Although, I do have to say that the guy sticking his fingers through the coconuts intrigues me. Well, the feat of strength intrigues me, not the guy.

I think the lesson here is make sure your training program has practical benefits for modern purposes. But I’ll have to give it to that last guy. I will NEVER have eyelids that strong.

It’s probably not the most useful trick in the book.

Not sure what to think of most of them. I think it’s more a question of pain tolerance, than “strength.” Although you could argue about the connective tissue integrity, but I’ll leave that for another day.
