Shake Weight Review

Last week I got to use a shake weight for the first time. To call this an inauspicious beginning would be generous. Here’s my short review: it’s not very fun and there are many better ways to burn calories and contract your muscles.

It won’t build strength. But, lest you think I’m totally a grinch about it, I’m going to show you your future. I once hosted an article here about how to choose a personal trainer certification, but Dave Sandel probably wouldn’t have written that article if he was aware that he could have certified in the shake weight.

Yes, it’s true. There are shake weight certifications. This is one of the funnier things I’ve seen recently. Of course it’s a parody.
