Floor Press

Don’t worry about the massive amount of weight here, or the depth of his press. The key is that you’re lying on the floor and your elbows can’t travel behind your back.

Floor presses have been a great exercise for me. I’m 6’8″ and unless I do a strict close grip bench press, my elbows wind up so far away from my torso, and so far below my back, that I just don’t like how they feel. I had a minor injury from a bench press I should have let go once, and it was enough to back me off.
