Eddie Yacynych with some jump rope tricks that make the double-unders I see at Crossfit look pretty sad. (No, I can’t jump-rope).
If you’ve ever tried to jump rope very quickly or for very long, you know that it can be both an incredible cardio workout and/or a crushing blow to your perception of how coordinated you are.
I am coordinated enough to jump over the rope if I lay it on the ground and leap over it with a running start, but no more.

That is freekin amazing!!
I have a jump rope, I don’t use it very often but jumping rope for 5 minutes (albeit whacking your feet numerous times and stopping) is a killer!
I think the first time I jumped rope as an adult my calves were sore for about a week, mad!
That’s mental! I must jump more rope and not upset the neighbours, again!
I liked the double under while doing a backflip.
Also be sure to check out Buddy Lee. He was capable at one time of doing quintuple (5x) unders!
