2″ Rope Climb

by Kilo on April 19, 2011

If you’ve ever tried lifting with a 2″ or even 3″ thick bar, you know how challenging that extra width can be when you’re trying to hold onto the weight.

Rope climbing is pretty grip intensive regardless. If you’re climbing a really long rope you also get the bonus of being terrified near the top if your grip starts to give out. Using a thick rope of course makes it more difficult.

And of course, a 2″ rope climb adds the challenge of pulling your own bodyweight vertically. Very strong stuff.
